description The recurrent news about funeral fifi ndings from the second millennium of the Christian Era in the north of Tafí Valley (Tucumán Province, Argentina) highlight the importance of including the analysis of these contexts to the different problems under study on the social dynamic in Tafí in those moments. In our article we report information that comes from the fifi rst works carried out on three funerary spaces that are located towards the northeast and northwest of the valley, that exhibit evidence about burial events and materiality of late pre-Hispanic and Inca moments. Later on, we make reflfl ections on the different social strategies linked to the building of spaces related to the death inside the different spheres of the daily life of the human groups from the north of the valley. Following spatial perspectives and the analysis of the kinetic and visual perception, we point out the use and differential building of the sites under study. From this stand point, we look to contribute to the development of the studies that are being developed in the area.
