The current article will analyze the articles written by Vasconcelos for the Buenos Airesnewspaper Crítica. The objective is analyzing the ideological changes experienced by Vasconcelos during this period of his life which are reflected in the articles mentioned above. Through these articles Vasconcelos emphasizes the Hispanic values and the dichotomy between the Hispanic and the Anglo-saxon cultures, as well as reflecting a growing concern about the Hispanic American nation as envisioned by him. Lastly he expresses his disappointment with the development of the Mexican Revolution that will evolve in views close to fascism.
