description This research work aims to carry out an analysis and critique of the main theoretical currents framed in the endogenous development approach. From this, develop methodological guidelines for addressing the territorial dynamics of capitalism in peripheral and dependent economic structures. It concludes in the need to identify the impacts of the different scales on the territorial productive trajectories. Similarly, an analysis of territorial actors, their differential resources of power and emerging conflicts in the processes of building local socio-productive profiles is privileged.
