Sumario:Our research is within the field of university admission, a problem that unfolds in a range of clearly identifiable aspects but which, in turn, involve or presuppose each other: understanding and production of texts, reflection on language and translation, articulation with the secondary school and the first year of University, production of teaching materials, training of teachers and specialized human resources. We are driven by the necessity to encourage institutional projects that promote the improvement of the conditions in order to accompany the new entrants in the initial course of their higher studies, to strengthen the proposals articulating the space of the introductory course with the first year of study and to generate others that contribute to the development of crucial competencies for university life. We are convinced that the introductory course is the big bet for an increasingly democratic and inclusive public university.
