description Abstract In this article we analyze Tributo del mudo (1982) by Diana Bellessi. Four parts make up the collection of poems: “Jade”, “Tributo del mudo”, “Persecución del sueño” and “Nadie entra aquí con las palabras”. Extensions of water with their courses, dangers and calmness are places where nature, culture and politics nest. A river of oriental lands, between poem and poem, reaches the delta del Tigre during the Argentine dictatorship and brings together the beautiful and painful image of a woman dressed in silk. Word and voice are channeled as a solidarity event, in vibration with the figures of the landscape. This study deals with: 1. the figures of the landscapes of the river, the sea and the island that are composed in the poems, imbricated with forms of movement, translation, variation, continuity and calmness; 2. the figures of the word and the voice that explore uses of space, irradiations of cited voices, enjambment procedures, cuts of verses and the treatment of textures and colors. It is proposed as a hypothesis that this poetry assumes a political aspect and proposes possible ways to articulate writing and reading, daydream and desire, feelings and memory.
