Our reading seeks to demonstrate the relationship between such operation of politicization of the body that we observe in his texts, and the denounce of a governmental legal framework that uses heterosexual norms as a device to construct forms of citizenship and a model of democracy that are sustained by the exclusion and the entrenchment of whiteness as a symbol of progress. His chronicles harangue for another model of relationship in dialogue with the horizon of post-colonial debates, using as an image, the irreverent recycling brought about by marginal bodies and valuing heterogeneity and mesticidad as something unique to this subcontinent. El artículo toma como objeto de indagación las crónicas Pedro Lemebel. La lectura que se propone parte de analizar la integración de la estética camp al proyecto escritural de Lemebel, focalizando en la función que adquiere la parodia del melodrama cinematográfico como estrategia deconstructiva de las imposiciones del género. Nuestra lectura busca evidenciar la relación entre la politización del cuerpo que observamos en sus crónicas y la denuncia de un marco legal estatal que utiliza la norma heterosexual como dispositivo constructor de formas de ciudadanía y de un modelo de democracia sustentado en la exclusión y en la entronización de lo blanco como símbolo del progreso. Sus crónicas incorporan como estrategia de escritura el reciclaje irreverente que propician los cuerpos marginales, valorizando la heterogeneidad y la mesticidad como lo propio.
