To address this issue, we divided the article into two parts. In the first part, we outline how the foundation of the discipline of History was based on systemic silencing and on the figure of the White Savior, fundamental axes for the racialization of the writing of history, and also approaching some alternatives. Then, we deepen this reflection from the literary dimension, rethinking how the construction of this canon silences and masks the immense pluriversality of fictional/non-fictional narratives, thus exploring how dissident narratives (black and anti-racist) reorganize the order of the canon. O artigo busca delinear a complexa relação entre a construção do cânone historiográfico e literário brasileiros e a produção de silenciamento/colonialidade, compreendendo assim o cânon como uma tecnologia de poder reprodutora da racialização. Para dar conta desta problemática dividimos o artigo em duas partes. Na primeira parte esboçamos como a fundação da disciplina da História esteve alicerçada no silenciamento sistêmico e na figura do White Savior, eixos fundamentais para a racialização da escrita da história, abordando também algumas alternativas. Em seguida, aprofundamos essa reflexão a partir da dimensão literária, repensando como a construção deste cânone silencia e mascara a imensa pluriversalidade das narrativas ficcionais/não-ficcionais, explorando assim como as narrativas dissidentes (negros e antirracistas) reorganizam o ordenamento do cânon.
