The aim of this project was to exchange experiences and knowledge in order to promote a better quality of life for persons with disabilities, especially those with Down syndrome. The different activities aroused the interest of participants and raised awareness about the need to take responsibility as citizens for the inequalities and exclusions that a sector of our society continues to suffer. These workshops proposed inclusion guides for teachers and aimed at designing a more inclusive offer of extracurricular activities based on solidarity and respect. Este proyecto describe un trabajo interdisciplinario entre diferentes asociaciones civiles, instituciones educativas formales e instituciones educativas no formales para beneficiar a docentes, estudiantes en formación docente, personas con discapacidad y a los padres de las personas con discapacidad. Se propició un espacio de intercambios de experiencias para comenzar un camino hacia una mejor calidad de vida de las personas con discapacidad, en especial de las que tienen síndrome de Down. Las diferentes actividades propuestas despertaron el interés y la necesidad de responsabilizarnos como ciudadanos por las desigualdades y exclusiones que continúa sufriendo un sector de nuestra sociedad. Los talleres propulsaron propuestas de inclusión y acompañamiento en la tarea de docentes y talleristas y pretenden contribuir a una oferta de actividades extracurriculares más inclusivas, promoviendo la solidaridad y el respeto, buscando la eliminación de barreras y de todas las formas de discriminación.
