I start from the premise that this important illustrator, painter, portraitist, cartoonist and caricaturist was an artist engaged in feminist causes in the context of dictatorship in Brazil. To develop this text, which intends to throw light on the unknown history of women in Brazilian art and graphic humor, newspapers are explored as sources, especially information on expedients, editorials, illustrations, graphic humor and comics by Cahú, as well as interviews with members of these two newspapers. Este artigo objetiva refletir sobre a trajetória feminista de Conceição Cahú (1944-2006) nos jornais Brasil Mulher e Nós Mulheres, entre 1976 e 1978. Parto da premissa que esta importante ilustradora, pintora, retratista, chargista, caricaturista e cartunista era uma artista engajada nas causas feministas no contexto de ditadura no Brasil. Para o desenvolvimento deste texto, que pretente lançar luz à desconhecida história das mulheres na arte e no humor gráfico brasileiro, são explorados como fontes os jornais, em especial as informações de expediente, editoriais, ilustrações, humor gráfico e quadrinhos de autoria de Cahú, bem como entrevistas com integrantes destes dois periódicos. Este artigo objetiva refletir sobre a trajetória feminista de Conceição Cahú (1944-2006) nos jornais Brasil Mulher e Nós Mulheres, entre 1976 e 1978.
