Our field of inquiry is constituted, by the way, the teaching of the language proposed by the school manuals produced by the publishing industry, in particular the teaching of argumentation and grammar, and its possible articulations with the training of readers and writers, objective declared by curricular documents and by specialists, researchers, teachers, trainers, etc. Desde hace tiempo ya, quienes integramos el equipo de investigación que coordino1 nos interesamos por indagar la articulación entre determinados contenidos lingüísticos y su transposición didáctica a partir de los manuales escolares, e intentamos comprender la efectividad de esta relación para abordar lo que consideramos la problemática medular del campo de la didáctica de la lengua: enseñar a interpretar y producir textos. Nuestro campo de indagación lo constituye, por cierto, la enseñanza de la lengua propuesta por los manuales escolares que produce la industria editorial, en particular la enseñanza de la argumentación y la gramática, y sus articulaciones posibles con la formación de lectores y escritores, objetivo declarado por los documentos curriculares y por especialistas, investigadores, profesores, capacitadores, etcétera.
