To determine what this way of gazing is, what its properties and stylistic implications are, is the purpose of the article. The poem The Secret of Rembrandt is taken as the object of analysis, from the field of literary studies and by taking into account some considerations of tensive semiotics, since this theoretical perspective, by correlating the sensitive with the intelligible as the first articulation of meaning, allows us to characterize the action of gazing, within Andruetto's poetry, as a form of the predominantly affective vision. La escritura de María Teresa Andruetto parece sustentarse en una forma particular de mirar, que aporta uno de los rasgos estilísticos más sobresalientes de su poesía. Determinar cuál es esta forma de mirada, cuáles son sus propiedades y sus implicaciones estilísticas, es el propósito del artículo.
