The project's main objective was to promote the participation of participants in Mapuzugun learning spaces and to make the importance and complexity of these processes visible within the University.Based on this experience, we proposed first of all that participation implied not only learning the language, but also recovering and strengthening ties as a people.This shows that linguistic revitalization is not only a technical process of learning a language, but also a social and spiritual process for the Mapuche people. This strengthening of ties was expressed in everyday circumstances but also in exceptional ones, particularly in the face of the aggression experienced by the Buenuleo community, a participant in the project, in the context of the territorial recovery they are carrying out. This situation mobilized the members of the project in the different localities from which they participate and constituted an important accompaniment for the lof.6 From this reading, the project was asked to convene university authorities to participate in a meeting to discuss the care needs of the children of the community. Faced with the lack of response from the authorities, we reflected on the limits of this experience to question the conception of the extensionist practice as a constituent of the university agency, from the line called critical extension.

En este artículo presentamos reflexiones sobre el trabajo que vienen realizando organizaciones, grupos de estudio y comunidades mapuche e integrantes de la Universidad Nacional de Río Negro en torno al proyecto de extensión “Promoción, sistematización y visibilización de experiencias de transmisión de la cultura, memoria y lengua del pueblo mapuche en Viedma, Patagones y Bariloche como espacios de construcción intercultural: Müley iñ mishawael kimün5”. El proyecto se propuso fundamentalmente propiciar la participación de las y los participantes en espacios de aprendizaje del mapuzugun, y visibilizar la importancia y complejidad de estos procesos al interior de la Universidad.A partir de esta experiencia, planteamos en primer lugar que la participación implicó no sólo aprendizajes de la lengua, sino recuperación y fortalecimiento de vínculos como pueblo.Esto da cuenta de que la revitalización lingüística no constituye sólo un proceso técnico de aprender una lengua, sino social y también espiritual para el pueblo mapuche. Este fortalecimiento de vínculos se expresó en circunstancias cotidianas pero también excepcionales, particularmente ante la agresión vivida por la comunidad Buenuleo, participante en el proyecto, en el contexto de la recuperación territorial que llevan adelante. Esta situación movilizó a las y los integrantes del proyecto en las distintas localidades desde las que participan y constituyó un acompañamiento importante para la lof.6 Desde esa lectura, se solicitó al proyecto que convocara a autoridades universitarias para participar de una reunión en la que se discutirían las necesidades de cuidado de las niñas y los niños de la comunidad. Frente a la falta de respuesta por parte de las autoridades, reflexionamos sobre los límites de esta experiencia para interpelar a la concepción de la práctica extensionista como constitutiva de la agencia universitaria, desde la línea denominada extensión crítica. Neste artigo apresentamos reflexões sobre o trabalho que as organizações vêm realizando, Grupos de estudo e comunidades Mapuche e membros da Universidade Nacional do Rio Negro em torno do projeto de extensão "Promoção, sistematização e visibilidade de experiências na transmissão da cultura, memória e linguagem do povo mapuche em Viedma, Patagones e Bariloche como espaços de construção intercultural: Müley iñ mishawael kimün5". O projeto visava principalmente envolver participantes em espaços de aprendizagem mapuzugun, e para tornar visível a importância e complexidade destes processos dentro da Universidade.A partir dessa experiência, propomos, em primeiro lugar, que a participação implicou não apenas aprendizagem da língua, mas a recuperação e o fortalecimento dos laços como povo.Isto mostra que a revitalização lingüística não é apenas um processo técnico de aprender uma língua, mas também uma língua social e espiritual para o povo Mapuche. Este fortalecimento de laços foi expressa em circunstâncias cotidianas, mas também excepcionais, particularmente diante da agressão experimentada pela comunidade de Buenuleo, participante do projeto, no contexto da recuperação territorial que eles estão realizando. Esta situação mobilizou aos membros do projeto nas diferentes localidades de onde eles participam e foi um importante acompanhamento do lof.6 Desde essa leitura, o projeto foi solicitado para convocar autoridades universitárias para participar de uma reunião na qual as necessidades de cuidado das crianças na comunidade seriam discutidas. Frente à falta de resposta das autoridades, refletimos sobre os limites deste experiência para desafiar a concepção da prática de extensão como constitutiva da agência universitária, a partir da chamada linha de extensão crítica.
