At the end of the year 2019 we find the number 3 the Revista del Museo de Antropología corresponding to volume 12, with which we are fulfilling the objective of being able to publish a number every 4 months. Although this has implied a challenge both for the editors and for the authors and evaluators without a doubt this effort, carried out in an adverse context for the scientific and technological community of Argentina, will result in an improvement in the time that happens between the Author submits the work and is effectively published. In this sense it is important to keep in mind that an update of the journal management system (Open Journal System) has also been carried out, which will also allow a better follow-up of all the parts of the workflow that correspond to the editorial management. In particular, we present four original works for the Archaeology Section. The Museology Section includes a work, the Biological Anthropology Section also contributes a work and finally two works for the Social Anthropology Section are published. We also add a dossier dedicated to the figure of the Norwegian social anthropologist Marit Melhuus, coordinated by Rosana Guber and which contains six notes related to this anthropologist. Finally, we present two bibliographic reviews by Pablo Sendón and Guillermina Espósito.
Within the Archaeology Section the first work is by María Cecilia Castellanos, Mirta Fátima Quiroga and Alexis Nieves. This work presents information on a sample of ceramics from the Calchaquí Valley related to occupations dated between 1200 and 1600 after Christ. With this work we try to contribute to the interpretation of the interaction circuits between the towns of the Valley and high sectors such as the puna. The second work of this section corresponds to the authors Gastón Lamas Rivero, Jimena Blasco Álvarez and Eugenia Villamarzo Andreatta. The authors present a reflection on the potential of archaeological collections and museum collections for research in this discipline. The interest of this work is to provide ideas for the definition of issues related to the management of collections conservation measures and the development of musealization strategies of these collections focused on the analysis of a case of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay. The third work corresponds to the authors Juana Fuertes and Karen Liotta. They present the result of the analysis of the charred plant remains of beans from an archaeological village of the Hualfín Valley. Finally, and closing the section María Paz Martinoli presents an analysis on the exploitation of pinnipeds on the Isla de los Estados.
Inside the Museology section we find the work of Eva Lamborghini. In this case, the research focuses on the analysis of museums and their relationship with the representation of Afro-descendants in Argentina.
In the Biological Anthropology Section we present the work of Ana Gabriela Millán, Nadia Mohamed and Silvia Dahinten. The work is about the analysis of a collection of human remains from an area of the province of Chubut made up of a local fan. Due to this, the remains that compose it do not have associated chronological or context data. However, the analysis carried out by the authors provides data for an area that has limited data of this type.
In the Social Anthropology Section, Luisa Domínguez's work presents us with an analysis of the discourses referred to the indigenous peoples that during the first part of the 20th century was thought as part of the past of Argentine history. In order to analyse this premise, the author focuses on the study of indigenous languages in the period between 1930 and 1950. Closing this section Luis Eduardo Maferra analyzes an agricultural book written in the year 1617 in Spain from which try to discuss the concepts used by the anthropological sciences to understand the links between people and plants focusing mainly on trees. Then this issue of the Journal of the Museum of Anthropology presents a Dossier coordinated by Rosana Guber who introduces us, through a short writing format, to the interaction that the Norwegian social anthropologist Marit Melhuus has had with Argentine and Norwegian colleagues. This Dossier contains writings in the form of a letter which colleagues like Marianne Elisabeth Lien, Kristi-Anne Stolen, Jorun Solheim, Signe Lise Howell, Celina Salas and Rosana Guber herself write in a personal way, thus building a recognition of the research trajectory that Marit performed since the 1970s in the province of Corrientes. This Dossier tries in this way to present Marit's work to the new generations of anthropologists.
Finally, two bibliographic reviews made by Pablo Sendón who comment on the book "Food, cohabitation and Andean worlds" by Guillermo Salas Carreño and Guillermina Espósito who make an analysis of the book "Extermination and guardianship. Processes of formation of alterities in Brazil” by João Pacheco de Oliveira. With this we close this editorial inviting, as usual, to enjoy the critical reading of this material that we make available to those interested.

Córdoba, December 21st, 2019 Finalizando el año 2019 nos encontramos con el número 3 la Revista del Museo de Antropología correspondiente al volumen 12, con lo cual estamos dando cumplimiento al objetivo de poder publicar un número cada 4 meses. Si bien esto ha implicado un desafío tanto para los editores como para los autores y evaluadores sin lugar a dudas este esfuerzo, realizado en un contexto adverso para la comunidad científica y tecnológica Argentina, redundará sin duda en una mejora del tiempo qué sucede entre que el autor envía el trabajo y es efectivamente publicado. En este sentido es importante tener en cuenta que además se ha realizado una actualización del sistema de gestión de la revista (Open Journal System) que también permitirá un mejor seguimiento de todas las partes del flujo de trabajo que corresponden a la gestión editorial. Este número en particular presentamos para la Sección Arqueología cuatro trabajos originales. La Sección Museología incluye un trabajo, la Sección Antropología Biológica también aporta un trabajo y por último se publican dos trabajos para la Sección de Antropología Social. Además sumamos un dossier dedicado a la figura de la antropóloga social noruega Marit Melhuus, coordinado por Rosana Guber y qué contiene seis notas relacionados con esta figura de la antropología internacional. Por último presentamos dos reseñas bibliográficas a cargo de Pablo Sendón y Guillermina Espósito. Dentro de la Sección Arqueología el primer trabajo es de María Cecilia Castellanos, Mirta Fátima Quiroga y Alexis Nieves. Este trabajo presenta información sobre una muestra de cerámica procedente del Valle Calchaquí relacionada con ocupaciones datadas entre el 1200 y 1600 después de Cristo. Con este trabajo se intenta aportar a la interpretación de los circuitos de interacción entre los poblados del Valle y sectores altos como la puna. El segundo trabajo de esta sección corresponde a los autores Gastón Lamas Rivero, Jimena Blasco Álvarez y Eugenia Villamarzo Andreatta. Los autores presentan una reflexión acerca del potencial que poseen colecciones arqueológicas y colecciones de museos para la investigación en esta disciplina. El interés de este trabajo es brindar ideas para la definición de cuestiones relacionadas con la gestión de colecciones medidas de conservación y el desarrollo de estrategias de musealización de estas colecciones centrado en el análisis de un caso de la República Oriental del Uruguay. El tercer trabajo corresponde a las autoras Juana Fuertes y Karen Liotta. Ellas presentan el resultado del análisis de los restos vegetales carbonizados de porotos procedentes de un poblado arqueológico del Valle de Hualfín. Por último y cerrando la sección María Paz Martinoli presenta un análisis sobre la explotación de pinnípedos en la Isla de los Estados. Representando a la Sección Museología encontramos el trabajo de Eva Lamborghini. En este caso la investigación se centra en el análisis de los museos y su relación con la representación de afrodescendientes en Argentina. En la Sección Antropología Biológica presentamos el trabajo de Ana Gabriela Millán, Nadia Mohamed y Silvia Dahinten. El trabajo trata sobre el análisis de una colección de restos humanos procedentes de un área de la provincia de Chubut conformada por un aficionado local. Debido a ello, los restos que la componen no poseen datos cronológicos ni de contexto asociados. No obstante ello el análisis efectuado por las autoras aporta datos para un área que posee escasos datos de este tipo. En la Sección Antropología Social el trabajo de Luisa Domínguez nos presenta un análisis de los discursos referidos a los pueblos indígenas que durante la primer parte del siglo XX fue pensado como parte del pasado de la historia Argentina. A los fines de analizar esta premisa la autora se focaliza en el estudio de las lenguas indígenas en el período comprendido entre 1930 y en 1950. Cerrando esta sección Luis Eduardo Maferra analiza un libro de agricultura escrito en el año 1617 en España a partir del cual intenta discutir los conceptos utilizados por las ciencias antropológicas para comprender los vínculos entre las personas y las plantas focalizando principalmente en los árboles. A continuación este número de la Revista del Museo de Antropología presenta un Dossier coordinado por Rosana Guber quién nos introduce, a través de un formato de escritura breve, a la interacción que ha tenido la antropóloga social noruega Marit Melhuus con colegas argentinos y noruegos. Este Dossier contiene escritos en forma de carta qué colegas cómo Marianne Elisabeth Lien, Kristi-Anne Stolen, Jorun Solheim, Signe Lise Howell, Celina Salas y la misma Rosana Guber escriben de modo personal construyendo de esta forma un reconocimiento a la trayectoria de investigaciones que Marit realizó desde la década 1970 en la provincia de Corrientes. Este Dossier intenta de esta manera presentar el trabajo de Marit a las nuevas generaciones de antropólogos. Por último se integran a este número 2 reseñas bibliográficas realizadas por Pablo Sendón quién comenta el libro “Comida, cohabitación y mundos andinos” de Guillermo Salas Carreño y Guillermina Espósito quién hace un análisis del libro “Exterminio y tutela. Procesos de formación de alteridades en el Brasil” de Joao Pacheco de Oliveira. Con esto cerramos esta editorial invitando, como es usual, a disfrutar de la lectura crítica de este material que ponemos a disposición de los interesados. Embora isso implique um desafio tanto para os editores quanto para os autores e avaliadores, sem dúvida, esse esforço, realizado num contexto adverso para a comunidade científica e tecnológica da Argentina, resultará numa melhoria no tempo que ocorre entre o autor envia o trabalho e é efetivamente publicado. Representando a Seção de Museologia, encontramos o trabalho de Eva Lamborghini. Nesse caso, a pesquisa enfoca a análise de museus e a sua relação com a representação de afrodescendentes na Argentina. Na Seção de Antropologia Biológica, apresentamos o trabalho de Ana Gabriela Millán, Nadia Mohamed e Silvia Dahinten. O trabalho trata da análise de uma coleção de restos humanos de uma área da província de Chubut composta por um fã local. Por esse motivo, os restos que o compõem não possuem dados cronológicos ou de contextos associados. No entanto, a análise realizada pelos autores fornece dados para uma área que possui dados limitados desse tipo. Na seção de Antropologia Social, o trabalho de Luisa Domínguez nos apresenta uma análise dos discursos referentes aos povos indígenas que durante a primeira parte do século XX foram pensados como parte do passado da história argentina. Para analisar essa premissa, o autor se concentra no estudo de línguas indígenas no período entre 1930 e 1950. Fechando esta seção, Luis Eduardo Maferra analisa um livro sobre agricultura, escrito em 1617 na Espanha, a partir do qual ele tenta discutir os conceitos usados pelas ciências antropológicas para entender os vínculos entre pessoas e plantas com foco principalmente em árvores.
