The purpose of this study was to investigate abuse or dependence on alcoholic beverages in adolescents in the City of Córdoba The survey was carried out using the CAGE Questionnaire consists of an effective screening method for alcohol abuse. It is a brief survey of 4 closed questions, validated, distributed randomly in activities and group workshops in the framework of extension activities, to 144 students of secondary schools in the city of Córdoba, in the periods of October-November 2018 The first three items of the CAGE questionnaire are consistent and complementary to the criteria of abuse and dependence. According to the number of affirmative answers, in general it is considered that the greater it is, the greater the dependency will also be. Thus according to affirmative answers they are classified in • 0-1 Social drinker • 2 Risk consumption. • 3 Harmful consumption • 4 Alcohol dependence. 41.7% of the surveyed students believe that they should drink less, 30.6% have been criticized for excessive consumption, 43% have felt bad or guilty about their drinking, 4.9% drank to calm their nerves or to get rid of the hangover. According to the results, 47.9% suffer alcohol abuse and / or dependence. Further research is necessary, because of the obvious risks

Further research is necessary, because of the obvious risks Se define “abuso de sustancias psicoactivas” a “un modelo desadaptativo de uso de una sustancia,  caracterizado por un consumo continuado, a pesar de que el sujeto sabe que tiene un problema social, laboral, psicológico y/ o físico, persistente o recurrente, provocado o estimulado, en este caso por el alcohol. El objetivo de este estudio fue investigar abuso o dependencia de bebidas alcohólicas en adolescentes escolarizados de la Ciudad de Córdoba Se aplicó el Cuestionario CAGE que consiste en un método eficaz de screening en el abuso de alcohol. Es una una encuesta breve de 4 preguntas cerradas, validada , difundida de manera aleatoria en actividades y talleres grupales en el marco de actividades de extensión, a 144 estudiantes de colegios secundarios de la ciudad de Córdoba, en los períodos de octubre-noviembre de 2018. Los primeros tres ítems del cuestionario CAGE son consistentes y complementarios con los criterios de abuso y dependencia . Según el número de respuestas afirmativas, en general se considera que cuanto mayor es, mayor será también la dependencia. De este modo según respuestas afirmativa se clasifican en • 0-1 Bebedor social • 2 Consumo de riesgo. • 3 Consumo perjudicial • 4 Dependencia alcohólica.  El 41,7% cree que debería beber menos, al 30,6% le ha molestado la crítica por el consumo excesivo , 43% se ha sentido mal o culpable por su forma de beber, 4,9 % bebió para calmar sus nervios o para librarse de la resaca. De acuerdo a los resultados, el  47,9% padece abuso y/o dependencia alcohólica. Siendo necesario mayores investigaciones, por los riesgos evidentes. Universidad Nacional Cba.
