El Portal Internacional de Archivos Francófonos (PIAF) es un espacio virtual de capacitación, información e intercambios, dedicado a la archivología, los archivos y los archiveros. Gratuito y de libre acceso, existe desde hace doce años. Está destinado principalmente a la comunidad francófona, pero también se relaciona con la comunidad de archiveros de habla hispana, inglesa, árabe y portuguesa. Recibe, cada año, la visita de aproximadamente 100.000 internautas diferentes. El corazón de la oferta educativa de PIAF se encuentra en la sección “formarse”, que se complementa con un componente de documentación (“documentarse”) y otro dedicado a intercambios entre colegas y al trabajo colaborativo (“E Pro”). El PIAF depende de la Asociación Internacional de Archivos Francófonos (AIAF). Está fnanciado por Archivos Nacionales francófonos. El PIAF está dirigido por un comité de quince profesionales de toda la Francofonía. El sitio está en constante evolución: nuevos proyectos y logros surgen cada año, lo que representa otros tantos desafíos. El PIAF funciona gracias al apoyo fnanciero de las instituciones, por supuesto, pero también gracias a personas cooperadoras y al compromiso de la comunidad profesional en general.Abstract The Portail International Archivistique Francophone (PIAF) is a Frenchspeaking e-learning website dedicated to records and archives management. Its main motto is: teach, inform and share (informations and knowledge). Its contents are consequently divided in three parts: « se former » (get trained) which is dedicated to e-learning, «se documenter» (keep/stay posted) which gathers useful tools for daily Professional life and «Espace Professionnel» (Professional Space) which provides its members with social networking and collaborative workingspaces. Created 12 years ago, this free access website has no equivalent in any other language. The PIAF is mainly visited by the French-speaking community of professionals and students, but recent statistics tend to show that the Spanish, English, Arabic and Portuguese-speaking communities are interested as well.
