Bermann´s position in these quarrels lead us to a group of problems and contexts in wich politics affairs called up the intellectuals. This article focus in the aproaches and distances that Bermann established with communist culture, particularly paying attention to his bond with Héctor Agosti, and to theirs disagreements about the intellectuals and young university students in a revolutionary process. El itinerario de Gregorio Bermann permite indagar algunastensiones delarelación entre cultura comunista e intelectuales; en particular, aquellas referidas a las disputas que el comunismo sostuvo, por un lado, con el psicoanálisis freudiano y, por otro, con la tradición reformista universitaria latinoamericana. Las posiciones de Bermann en torno a estas querellas nos acercan a un conjunto de problemas y coyunturas que convocaron de manera general a los intelectuales y los colocaron ante el dilema de lo político. Este artículo se enfoca en los acercamientos y en las distancias que Bermann estableció con la cultura comunista, atendiendo especialmente a su relación con Héctor Agosti y a sus posturas en torno al rol del intelectual en los procesos revolucionarios, sobre todo el de los jóvenes universitarios.
