This work presents the desicions made by the career management team in order to face the challenges posed by the incorporation of foreign students with virtual movility and whose only face-to-face activity  was the oral defense of their dissertation. Adopting the perspective of internationalization as a process, we focus on the organizational and administrative strategies used to resolve the conflicts that arise between the tradition of the face-to-face  university and the demands of virtuality and internationalization. In this regard, the administrative measures adopted to solve various emerging conflicts are considered. Finally, in the conclusions, we emphasize the need of encouraging regional convergence actions to remedy the problem of heterogeneity of different educational systems. A partir de una experiencia de internacionalizar la Maestría en Procesos Educativos Mediados por Tecnología implementada en el Centro de Estudios Avanzados, Facultad de Ciencias Sociales de la Universidad Nacional de Córdoba-Argentina, se presentan las decisiones que se tomaron desde la gestión de la carrera, para enfrentar los desafíos que surgieron  al incorporar  alumnos extranjeros con movilidad virtual y cuya única actividad presencial fijada, fue la defensa oral del trabajo final de graduación. Adoptando la perspectiva  de internacionalización  como proceso, la presentación se centra en las estrategias tomadas desde lo organizativo-administrativo para solucionar conflictos entre  la tradición de la universidad presencial y las exigencias para enfrentar la virtualidad y la internacionalización. En esa línea se consideran las medidas de cambio adoptadas desde lo administrativo para enfrentar  los conflictos presentados. Finalmente en las conclusiones, se afirma la necesidad  de encarar acciones de convergencia regional frente a la heterogeneidad de sus sistemas educativos.
