The terms of trade and productivity differences between regions, through their impact on relative wages, stand out as the main determinant of the Real Exchange Rate. To a lesser extent, asymmetries in public policies and differences in population densities also have an impact on the regional price structure. El objetivo de este trabajo es estudiar las diferencias en la estructura de precios entre Córdoba y Buenos Aires. En términos generales, el costo de vida más alto en Buenos Aires que en el interior del país. Debido a la alta integración de los mercados regionales nacionales, los bienes transables no presentan grandes discrepancias de precios, las cuales sí se observan en los bienes no transables. Los términos de intercambio y las diferencias de productividad entre regiones, a través de su impacto en los salarios relativos, se destacan como el principal determinante del Tipo de Cambio Real. Aunque en menor medida, las asimetrías en las políticas públicas y las diferencias en las densidades de población, también tienen un impacto sobre la estructura regional de precios.   Facultad de Ciencias Económicas.
