The reading keys chosen are the operation done by scientism to address sexuality as an object of study and the dialectical movement that occurred in the discourses about sexuality, from the prohibition of the Victorian age to the liberation of the sexual revolution and from there to the satisfaction imperative of XXI century Este artículo parte de la consideración de que las series de televisión son una nueva forma narrativa que capta de manera privilegiada la estructuración de algunas sociedades contemporáneas, para realizar una lectura de lo que se considera un centro de gravedad de la serie de televisión Masters of sex (2013).
