The field study was conducted at three schools from Buenos Aires and from interviews to principals and teachers. The results are shared to contribute to the production of relevant and meaningful knowledge on the field. El artículo presenta resultados de una investigación realizada en escuelas secundarias de la provincia de Buenos Aires. En la misma, se busca conocer, para comprender, cómo la irrupción de las TIC en las instituciones escolares seleccionadas supuso una revisión del rol del docente y de las estrategias y prácticas de enseñanza que se ponen en juego cuando se incluyen TIC en la asignatura Construcción de la Ciudadanía. El estudio de campo se realizó en tres escuelas bonaerenses a partir de entrevistas a directivos y docentes. Se comparten los resultados obtenidos para contribuir a la producción de conocimiento pertinente y significativo.
