| Sumario: | Creep behavior of a FeSi-base metallic glass containing nanocrystals was investigated at temperatures below first crystallization reaction. Amorphous samples of metallic glass were deformed under tensile creep tests in the stress range 100-800 MPa. Homogeneous viscous flow was detected and a composite model was used to explain the apparent viscosity. Results indicated that the stress carried by the amorphous phase influenced the flow stress of the composite. |
