Random distributions of representative cross sections in thin layers also are modeled. As an example of these underwater structures, we consider deposits of phosphorite nodules. We calculate: 1. (1) The average surface concentration of large deposits of phosphorite nodules. 2. (2) The reserves of seafloor phosphorites in the world. These analytical results agree with the ones obtained from orebodies discovered earlier. © 1995. |l eng | |
