Cross sections and density matrix elements are calculated for the excitation process: PZe + H(2s → n = 3). The calculated cross sections are about one order of magnitude larger than those from the 1s-state initial case. The excitation cross sections by multicharged ion impact satisfy the Janev and Presnyakov scaling rule with the same degree as for the PZe + H(1s → n = 3) process. Peribelion velocity, dipole moment and β-coefficients related to the multipole expansion are also calculated. The magnitudes depending on the initial state wave function are discussed.  |l eng
