Dispersions were prepared with solid material and arsenic solutions in a ratio of 8 g L -1 and the adsorption capacity was evaluated at several pH values. As(V) was completely removed from aqueous solution at pH 4.0 and 6.5 using the modified clays, while low adsorption was observed using Mt. Adsorption equilibrium was reached at reaction time of one hour approximately. © 2014 Taylor & Francis Group.  |l eng
