| 520 | 3 | |a Recent advances in electrochemistry are presented as a tool for mechanistic studies and synthesis of organometallic compounds. Special attention is given to the use of microelectrodes, ultrafast cyclic voltammetry, spectroelectrochemistry and digital simulation for mechanistic and thermodynamic studies. Electrochemically initiated electron transfer chain catalysis is discussed as a synthetic method for selective substitution in clusters and binuclear compounds.
