En este libro sobre el “curioso y razonable médico mago”, tras establecer tres ramas de la magia (la diabólica, la matemática o mecánica y la natural), descarta la primera por razones obvias, la segunda por ir más allá del objeto médico del libro y examina pormenorizadamente la tercera en busca de principios de simpatía-antipatía en la naturaleza, combinaciones de hierbas, amuletos, remedios populares, que puedan constituir una medicina mágica eficaz y bienhechora. Esta reseña fue realizada por el equipo conformado por Dr. José Emilio Burucúa, Dr. Nicolás Kwiatkowski, investigador Sergio Corinaldesi y Mg.
