<dc:description>Our work analyzes the historical context of the community that lived around a rural chapel built in the nineteenth century, situated in Catamarca province Paclín Department. Around it a process of economic exploitation that has changed over the century and whose incidence affected the population occurred. It also tries to determine the reasons for the abandonment of the chapel and the role of religious orders in the rural life. Methodologically analysis was used published and unpublished documentation, as well as architectural and archaeological ruins studies and analysis of the material recovered in the excavations. As a result it was contextualized and made visible to the chapel as a structuring social factor of economic conditions, politics and changes that affected the rural population lived in relationship with her in the nineteenth century.</dc:description>
<dc:description>Nuestro trabajo analiza el contexto histórico de la comunidad que vivió en los alrededores de una capilla rural construida en el siglo XIX, ubicada en el departamento Paclín, provincia de Catamarca. Alrededor de ella se dio un proceso de explotación económica que fue variando a lo largo de la centuria y cuya incidencia afectó a la población. También se intenta determinar las causas que motivaron el abandono de la capilla y el rol de las órdenes religiosas en la vida rural. Metodológicamente se recurrió al análisis de documentación edita e inédita, como también a estudios arquitectónicos y arqueológicos de las ruinas y al análisis del material recuperado en excavaciones. Como resultado se contextualizó y visibilizó a la capilla como factor estructurante de las condiciones económicas, sociales, políticas y de los cambios que afectaron a la población rural que vivió en relación con ella en el siglo XIX.</dc:description>
<dc:description>Nosso trabalho analisa o contexto histórico da comunidade que viveu por volta de uma capela rural construído no século XIX, situada no departamento província Paclin de Catamarca. Em torno dele um processo de exploração econômica que foi alterado ao longo do século e cuja incidência afetada a população ocorreu. Ele também tenta determinar as razões para o abandono da capela e do papel das ordens religiosas na vida rural. Análise Metodologicamente foi usada documentação publicada e não publicados, bem como estudos ruínas arquitectónico e arqueológico e análise do material recuperado nas escavações. Como resultado, foi contextualizada e tornada visível para a capela como um fator social estruturação das condições económicas, políticas e mudanças que afetaram a população rural vivia em relacionamento com ela no século XIX.</dc:description>
