	<dc:description xml:lang="en-US">The work describes the styles of management practices of secondary school directors in the city of La Plata. We analysis twelve interviews with directors and discusses the bureaucratic and pedagogical knowledge in their actions, the place given to the conflict, and the link between educative management and the different social actors. The conclusions point out that coexist standard practices with diversity and conflicts that challenge the educational management.</dc:description>
	<dc:description xml:lang="es-ES">El trabajo tiene el propósito de describir los estilos de gestión de los directores de escuelas secundarias de la ciudad de La Plata en las prácticas de gestión escolar. Para ello, se presenta el análisis de doce entrevistas realizadas a directores en las que se analizan los saberes burocráticos y pedagógicos que constituyen sus funciones, el lugar otorgado al conflicto, el vínculo entre la dirección y los diferentes actores sociales. Las conclusiones permiten señalar que en los estilos de gestión conviven prácticas orientadas a la normalización de la institución con lógicas que atienden a la diversidad y conflictos que interpelan a la función directiva.</dc:description>
