<dc:description xml:lang="en-US">This note studies two Argentinian reelaborations of Blood Wedding. The first one has got the extra value of being the first filmic adaptation of any Lorca’s dramatic work, made only two years after his violent death, and with Margarita Xirgu on the screen. The second one is a theatrical version made by the playwright and actor Juan Carlos Gené mixing Lorca’s fiction with his own memories, and staged in the CELCIT of Buenos Aires during 2010 and 2011.</dc:description>
<dc:description xml:lang="es-ES">En el presente trabajo presentamos dos reelaboraciones de Bodas de sangre realizadas en la Argentina. La primera tiene el valor agregado de haber sido la primera película sobre una obra de García Lorca a dos años de su violenta muerte, y con la presencia en la pantalla de Margarita Xirgu. La segunda es la versión teatral que ideara el dramaturgo y actor Carlos Gené entretejiendo recuerdos propios y ficción lorquiana y que se presentara en el CELCIT de Buenos Aires en 2010 y 2011.</dc:description>
