	<dc:description xml:lang="en-US">Through the analysis of a group of plays performed during the cycle "Teatro, memoria e identidad" (Mendoza, 2013), we propose an approach to the debates on the ways of representing the recent past. The forced absences, the need to communicate painful experiences avoiding social rejections, or the bet on the continuity of vital projects related to unmet goals, are some of the topics that could be found in dialogue, acting, scenography and other esthetic decisions. Furthermore, we consider the practice of theatre as social emergent able to capture sensations, experiences and collective movements involved with the formation of memory about the last repressive dictatorship and its genocide.</dc:description>

A partir del análisis de un grupo de obras teatrales presentadas como parte del ciclo "Teatro, memoria e identidad" (Mendoza, 2013), se presentan una serie de aproximaciones a los debates sobre las formas de representar el pasado reciente. Las ausencias forzadas, la necesidad de transmitir experiencias dolorosas sin provocar rechazos o la apuesta por la continuidad de proyectos vitales que incorporen las tareas pendientes, son algunos de los ejes que se plasman en diálogos, actuaciones, propuestas escenográficas y otras decisiones estéticas. Se busca reconocer, además, la práctica teatral como un emergente social capaz de plasmar sensaciones, experiencias y trayectos colectivos que, en este caso, se anudan en torno a la represión de la última dictadura y las vías de elaboración del genocidio.
