<dc:description xml:lang="en-US">The Church of Loreto, today the Cathedral of the Province of Mendoza, constitutes a historical and cultural bastion of the Province.&nbsp; It has been the axis around which a series of milestones and related events were developed together with the tradition and the cult of a community that consecrated it as the fundamental temple of its history. Headquarters of the first seminar in Mendoza, its location, its architecture and its artistic heritage, it is a site of great interest for the development and cultural activity of the Mendoza community from its founding to the present. The work shows the historical-artistic research carried out on the 'Mother Church' that showed a&nbsp; cultural-patrimonial treasure witness of an initial and foundational time for our community full of expressions that are the sustenance of the history of our Province and bastion of the profound religiosity that characterizes its people.</dc:description>
<dc:description xml:lang="es-ES">La Iglesia de Loreto, hoy Catedral de la Provincia de Mendoza, constituye un baluarte histórico&nbsp; y cultural de la Provincia en la medida en que ella ha sido y es el eje en torno al cual se desarrollaron y se desarrollan una serie de hitos y eventos relacionados con la tradición y el culto de una comunidad que la consagró como templo fundamental de su historia. Sede del primer seminario de Mendoza, su ubicación, su arquitectura y su patrimonio artístico la destacó como un sitio de gran interés&nbsp; para el desarrollo y la actividad cultural de la comunidad mendocina desde su fundación hasta el presente. El trabajo muestra la investigación histórico-artística realizada sobre la ‘Iglesia Matriz’ que dejó ver un tesoro cultural-patrimonial testigo de una época inicial y fundacional para nuestra comunidad colmada de expresiones que son el sustento de la historia de nuestra Provincia y baluarte de la profunda religiosidad que caracteriza a su pueblo.

<dc:description xml:lang="pt-BR">A igreja de Loreto,&nbsp; hoje Catedral da Pronvíncia de Mendoza, constitui um baluarte histórico e cultural da Província na medida em que tem sido e é o eixo em torno ao qual desenvolvem-se uma série de hitos e eventos relacionados com a tradição e o culto de uma comunidade que a consagrou como templo fundamental de sua história. Sede do primeiro seminário de Mendoza, sua localização, sua arquitetura e seu patrimônio artístico a destacou como um síto de grande interesse para o desenvolvimento e a atividade mendocina desde sua fundação até o presente. O trabalho mostra a investigação histórico-artística realizada sobre a "igreja matriz" que deixou ver um tesouro cultrual-patrimonial testemunha de uma época incial e fundacional para nossa comunidade cheia de expressões que são o sustento da história de nossa Província e baluarte da profunda religiosidade que caracteriza seu povo.</dc:description>
