Measurements of current sheets in plasmas with a finite-sized magnetic probe
The perturbations on magnetic probe signals, due to current redistribution in current-carrying plasmas, caused by the encasing body of the probe are discussed. Calculations are presented evaluating these perturbations for plane current distributions, and the relevance of this effect is analysed.
