Sumario:A simple urban air pollution model has been developed from the equation of mass continuity, the well-known wind profiles and polynomial forms for ground-level concentration, depending on atmospheric stability. The model has been applied to estimate the surface air concentration in Nashville (TN, U.S.A.), Bremen (West Germany) and Frankfurt (West Germany). The analysis of several statistical "measures" indicates that numerical results are in good agreement with the observed values. © 1991.
