Sturmian approach to single photoionization of CH4
We study single photoionization of CH4 with short laser pulses, using both averaged potential (spherically symmetric) and a more realistic potential that includes spatial orientation of the nuclei and the interaction with other electrons. We solve the time-independent Schrodinger equation using a ge...

| Sumario: | We study single photoionization of CH4 with short laser pulses, using both averaged potential (spherically symmetric) and a more realistic potential that includes spatial orientation of the nuclei and the interaction with other electrons. We solve the time-independent Schrodinger equation using a generalized Sturmian basis with the correct asymptotic behavior. Our results are compared with other theoretical and experimental results. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd. |
