Sumario:Appearance of inverse giant magnetoresistance in noncollinear magnetic systems was presented. It was shown for a simple d-band TB Hamiltonian that noncollinear magnetic configurations were contributed to large inverse giant magnetoresistance (IGMR) ratio. The outcome of band filling, magnetic moment and canting angle study were used to interpret the experimentally observed IGMR ratios on LaMn2Ge2.
