| Sumario: | During many years of teaching Physics at the Facultad de Ingeniería-Universidad de Buenos Aires (FIUBA) and at the Teachers School IES No1, we have found that students usually have problems in understanding various items of Optics. In this work, we present the difficulties that appear during the teaching and learning processes and some of its causes. We propose a teaching method to make processes easier, to enable a better understanding and a long lasting retention of these topics in the cognitive structure of our students. © 2008 American Institute of Physics. |
