Sumario:This text studies fitness as a modern cultural practice. To accomplish this task we analyze the international company Body Systems, thinking about those practices developed in La Plata. Two analysis categories are characteristic of the fitness culture and the symbolic violence associated: that person involved in gyms are clients of a body and in these institutions is (re)produce an ideal of body, the fit-body, particular of gyms companies.
