Sumario: | This article presents the results of a territorial research whose empirical purpose is those areas of the Buenos Aires Conurbano (outer Buenos Aires) where people has been developing land and housing access strategies outside the formal real estate market: villas, settlements and neighborhoods of the state housing and urbanization policy. It began in 2011 and provides weighted primary statistical information on more than 15,000 homes and households and 65,000 people in 14 neighborhoods. This research work is concerned with the study of social reproduction strategies of households in the popular economy, which has required the construction of conceptual categories that enable the dialogue between theory and empire. These categories are sketches or questions in some cases and in others they have already reached a certain degree of maturity, and are the product of the articulation of the individual research lines of the team members, while others are the basis for collective research. |
