| Sumario: | This paper aims to provide an analysis of the logic of social reproduction, focusing on a specific practice, the Parkour in the city of Avellaneda. The Parkour can be thought of as a disruptive practice of certain prescribed ways of inhabiting the urban. However, this does not exempt it to reproduce some logics of social reproduction. Particularly in Avellaneda has been constituted the Sports Civil Association “Libres del Sur Parkour” and, closely linked to it, the Municipal School of Parkour. The analysis made in this article will allow us to observe not only processes of institutionalization and schooling, but also instances of symbolic violence, even in the establishment of dominants senses contrary to the dominant sense in society. Moreover, we will see to the State extending its limits (even including the “alternative” in the “official”) and at the same time making flexible their logics and regulations. |
