Sumario:This article seeks to problematize the relationship between the conditions of employment, the category of care and the impact on health in health workers and domestic workers. Women have always been symbolically associated with the tasks of care, upbringing, values that have come from the private sphere and have been transposed and reproduced in the labor sphere. The entry of women into the labor market has always involved the extension of their private care tasks to the public space, where the category of care acquires a central dimension. At the same time, they have entered the labor market massively and abruptly in a context of economic recession, occupying precarious jobs. The aim of this article will be to describe the relationship between two groups of historically feminized workers, who are private home workers and health workers that allow us to theorize about care as a central category of their work process.
