Sumario:This article has the meaning of reflecting on how the Coronavirus disease-COVID-19, places Public Health on the public agenda of all the governments of the world.The problems of the health-disease-care-health care process have been in the media shadows for years in Argentina and in the world. Until a few weeks ago, there was little public debate about the role of public health and how the private market impacts community health. This pandemic once again raised questions about the importance of a free Public Health System, the Social Determinants of Health, and how pre-existing inequities and inequalities affect the quality of life and exposed the deteriorating work conditions of health professionals
