For this, the lists of candidates for national deputies in Argentina during the period 2003-2015 are analyzed. The objective is to account for the way in which the positioning of women on the lists determines different political opportunities in relation to men, and the way in which gender is constituted as an adjustment variable in the establishment of electoral strategies imposed by party structures. This work assumes that it is the political parties that establish the limits to the political trajectories of women, generating a glass ceiling beyond the regulations established by the Quota Law. For this, the official lists of candidates for the general elections provided by the Electoral Statistics and Open Data Unit of the National Electoral Chamber and the Electoral Chamber of the Province of Buenos Aires are used. Este artículo propone mostrar y discutir el lugar de la mujer en las listas de candidatos electorales. Para esto, se analizan las listas de candidatos a diputados nacionales en Argentina durante el periodo 2003-2015. El objetivo es dar cuenta de la manera en que el posicionamiento de las mujeres en las listas determina oportunidades políticas diferentes en relación con los varones, y la forma en que el género se constituye como una variable de ajuste en el establecimiento de estrategias electorales impuestas por las estructuras partidarias. Este trabajo asume que son los partidos políticos los que establecen los límites a las trayectorias políticas de las mujeres, generando un techo de cristal más allá de las regulaciones establecidas por la Ley de Cupo. Para esto se utilizan las listas oficializadas de candidatos para las elecciones generales brindadas por la Unidad de Estadística Electoral y Datos Abiertos de la Cámara Nacional Electoral y la Cámara Electoral de la provincia de Buenos Aires.
