Since the first decade of the 21st century, changes have been taking place in the international (dis)order, evidencing the (re)emergence of actors among which China stands out. Although the countries of Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) were not and are not decisive in its expansion strategy, they have been gaining prominence in the design of its foreign policy and in its mega-regional initiatives within the framework of the global energy transition. China has a great responsibility in the global energy reconfiguration, which is conditioned by the slowdown of its economy and the growth of consumption and production of clean energies. In this sense, this article aims to analyze China's inclination towards “new infrastructures” in Latin America within the framework of the 4.0 Revolution and the global energy transition in the 21st century. It also focuses on the electric vehicle industry (New Energy Vehicles - NEVs) and the challenges of its landing in Argentina. The study of electromobility within the framework of the energy transition has acquired great relevance for the various international actors as it generates environmental benefits and slows down global warming, which has become one of the great challenges of the 21st century. An interpretative research methodology based on a high descriptive and analytical content and using primary and secondary sources is used. As for the data production techniques, a qualitative content analysis of documents was carried out, which implied an exhaustive review of specialized literature on this topic, documents and official speeches of high-ranking officials and articles from the international press. |

As for the data production techniques, a qualitative content analysis of documents was carried out, which implied an exhaustive review of specialized literature on this topic, documents and official speeches of high-ranking officials and articles from the international press.
