We used a qualitative methodology, in which we approached the instrumental type case study with the purpose of contrasting the particularities of these. I was complemented with the design of a questionnaire to access the information of our collaborators. The results reveal that the students' school trajectories are integrated by different elements that influence their academic, scientific and labor future. We identified that some cases maintain a correspondence with the subjects and tasks with which they were trained in the postgraduate program, while others do not maintain the same synchrony. We recognize some aspects that influence the performance of the program and the academic, scientific and even labor future of the students. El presente artículo de investigación analiza las trayectorias de los egresados de un programa de maestría, que orienta sus prácticas hacia la formación de investigadores en Psicología aplicada a la educación. Utilizamos una metodología cualitativa, en la que se abordó el estudio de caso tipo instrumental con el propósito de contrastar las generalidades y particularidades que se tienen en los casos seleccionados. Se complementó con el diseño de un cuestionario para acceder a la información de nuestros colaboradores. Los resultados revelan que las trayectorias escolares de los estudiantes se integran por diferentes elementos que influyen en su futuro académico, científico y laboral. Identificamos que algunos casos mantienen una correspondencia con las temáticas y los quehaceres con los que fueron formados en el posgrado, mientras que, en otros, no mantienen esta misma sincronía. Se reconocen algunos aspectos que inciden en el actuar del programa y en el devenir de los estudiantes. Universidad Católica de Córdoba.
