on identity are found to be “oriented towards an
understanding of reality with its numerous con-tradictions; the idea of unity in diversity beyond
ethnic, geographic or social barriers; the require-ment for self-affirmation measured through co-participation in power and wealth; a movement
towards an active process of humanization and
democracy with tendencies towards individual
and community stimulation; the tendency
towards stimulating cultural exchange and
trans-culturalization”. |
