Sumario:Nueva Venecia besides being a picturesque lakeside town in the middle of the Cienaga Grande in Santa Marta, is one of the places that has undergone great violence which has enrooted itself in the State of Magdalena over the last 20 years. Such violence has resulted in a massive exodus from rural areas to major cities in the State of Magdalena such as Cienaga, Santa Marta and Aracataca. Through group and individual meetings with the victims of terrorism, our investigation projects hatchery, together with the group “Media and Society” from the School of Social Communication and Journalism at the Sergio Arboleda University of Santa Marta, seeks to redefine the memory of the victims and promote amongst them, through different didactic approaches, resilience processes as a historical manifestation that resists oblivion in order to avoid repetition of the same lesson.
