Sumario:In Entre Rios, the eucalyptus represents 80% of afforestation, its main representative the eucalyptus grandis. Clearly, Entre Rios is and will be for many years, a very fertile source of this raw material. The use of wood as a building material should give the eucalyptus achieve added value as a finished product that promotes the domestic market and dismiss in some way the export of raw material.. GECOMA (Building Research Group in Wood), emphasized the systematic scientific planning and construction by optimizing the modulation eucalyptus wood panels for easy assembly attachable. In collaboration, the National Technological University, conducted laboratory tests to different panel prototypes, ensured the panel that selected comply with all regulations and construction standards established. Prototypes were subjected to different efforts and their properties were also tested as acoustic and thermal insulation.
