Sumario:The ethical training of the professionals who educate Higher Education Institutions is an urgent challenge that Mexico should assume. This challenge transcends the boundary of the codes of ethics, going towards a comprehensive training in three dimensions: professional, civic and institutional. Universities must incorporate into their curriculum and the institution to ethics as a fundamental part of the educational process and coexistence within and outside the classroom. The new professionals should not be more autistic only cater to the technical aspects, must be socially committed people. The paper presented here gives an account of this new reality, giving some indication of how confront.
