Sumario:The high rates of learning disabilities, over 30% in Latin America, have direct consequences in Colombia, where students from secondary and higher education have low levels of reading and writing skills. Specific problems in the management of speech, difficulty in arguing, poor oral expression and limitations in the use of textual references are proof of that. The first responsibility of the university must be to strengthen communication skills of their students, not only to ensure the quality of its graduates, but to prevent potential student dropouts. To support the traditional areas of materials written and oral communication CESA created the center DIGA, an instrument to support cross -linguistic practices of their students.
