| Sumario: | Currently, the processes and activities of organizations linked to the management
of public health services require a large data handling and speed in processing
them. In this sense, the fact that Information and Communication Technologies
(ICTs) have become an essential tool to incorporate new and effective solutions
(effective + efficient) management and administration of complex information
systems. For the provision of health services, the impact of improved
management processes, rests mainly on the most vulnerable and poor, that large
proportion that lives in rural areas. This paper gathers and discloses for
designing and implementing an innovative solution to the problem of the permits
application process to specialized health services in the Department of Tolima,
Colombia. |
